A Bit About Garry

Garry is the Founder and Chairman of Agora Strategic Consulting Group. He is passionate about helping businesses and
organizations thrive! Garry has over 42 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions and strengthening businesses, helping
businesses all over the globe achieve significant success.

Garry’s experience includes:

  • Vice President of Drexel Burnham Lambert, a New York Investment Banking firm working in both M&A and Capital Advisory Services.

  • Vice President of Corporate Development for three public, international semi-conductor capital equipment companies (Omtex, KLA-Tencor and Asyst Technologies) leading their global M&A strategies.

  • President of Krum and Company, advising companies ranging from global conglomerates to private mid-caps on strategic business acquisition strategies. Clients have included Lockheed Martin, Ford Motor, IBEC Global, New Century Software, OtterBox and Repeated Signal Solutions.

  • Founder and President of Agora Strategic Consulting Group focusing on preparing private mid-cap businesses to achieve exit success through Agora’s time-tested Value Equation and Value Multiplication processes.

As the author of the well-received book The Value Equation, Garry understands and works along business owners to make
their values be the foundation of their businesses which ultimately leads to unbelievable, sustainable success for the business,
the owner, the employees and their customers.

He has been married to his wife, Mary, for 32 years and together they have raised two strong men. Garry has hiked over 3,000
miles of the Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountains as well as Manchu Picchu, climbed the northwest face of Half Dome, skied
the Valle Blanche in Chamonix and has visited all 50 US states.
